Manali situated at 6,398 ft in the Himalayas. Kullu is the district and located in Himachal Pradesh. Manali's snow-covered peaks make its popular for a honeymoon destination. During summer,  the highest number of tourists come to see the beauty. A new year and Christmas, the tariff for food and rooms can rise to almost triple their cost. The main jumping point  Ladakh, Lahaul and Spiti, the buses from Manali  Leh, Keylong and Kaza.

1.Solang  Valley




Solang Valley is about14 kilometres to the north-west of the main town of Manali. One of the most popular tourist destinations of Himachal Pradesh is Solang Valley. Solang Valley is situated in Manali. Every year huge numbers of tourists come to see the beauty of the valley. The favourite place of parachuting to paragliding, adventure enthusiasts, horse riding  for all age groups tourists.

During winters, The popular sport of Solang valley is snowmaking skiing which covered with snow. Training institutes and trainers located in the valley to supervise train beginners and skiers. When the snow melts, skiing is taken by zorbing. 

2.Rohtang Pass




Rohtang Pass is located at a distance of  51 kilometres from Manali. Rohtang Pass reached only by road. The massive height of Rohtang Pass is 3978 metres on Manali- Keylong road.  Rohtang Pass is a favourite place of film directors. Many blockbusters films from 'Jab We Met' to
 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' have been shot here. 

3.Paragliding in Kulu Manali


Manali is famous for paragliding. It is an ultimate location for the sport at 2050 metres above sea level,  with its beautiful green valleys, snow-capped mountain peaks and stark blue skies. 

Paragliding is an adventure sport . Long/high flights last between 40 minutes and 1 hour, while Medium flights involve a 15-minute flight.
