1. Sanskirt As The Official Language of Uttarakhand   



Uttarakhand is the only state where the most preferred language is Sanskrit and the second official language of Uttarakhand. Another preferred language is Hindi.

Uttarakhand is the state where many religious sites are there and also known as the DevBhoomi of Uttarakhand because of many religious sites there like Haridwar, Rishikesh, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri.

3. Brahma Kamal




Brahma Kamal is the state flower of Uttarakhand and it is also famous for its medicinal properties. Brahma Kamal is the white lotus that lord Brahma holds in Hand

4.Chipko Movement



Chipko Movement originated in Uttarakhand in the 1970s. Chipko Movement started for saving trees or forests. Chipko Movement also started, When the group of women's hugged trees to prevent cutting them.

5.Yoga Capital



Uttarakhand is famous in the world for yoga. Rishikesh is the city of Uttarakhand is the yoga capital of the world.

6. Laxman Jhoola   


 Laxman Jhoola is made up of iron and 450 feet long and 70 feet above the river. Laxman Jhoola is the place where Ram and Laxman crossed the river Ganga, where the bridge has been built.
