Gandhi Sarovar


Gandhi Sarovar is a small lake in Uttarakhand and it is 39000 m above sea level. The other name of Gandi Sarovar is Chorabari Tal because it is located at the mouth of  Chorabari Bamak Glacier. According to Hindu mythology, Yudhishtir the eldest brother of Pandavas has departed to heaven from here.   

Sonprayag


Sonprayag is located in the route of Kedarnath and in between Rudraprayag and Gaurikund. Sonprayag is 8 km from Gaurikund and easily reach through by taxi or bus from Rudraprayag. The nearest railway station to Sonprayag is Dehradun.
