Kedarnath is the town of the state of Uttarakhand. Kedarnath is the Hindu temple and dedicated to shiva. Kedarnath is famous for Kedarnath Temple. Kedarnath temple is located in the foothills of the Himalayan, around 3600m above sea level and near the mouth of the Mandakini river. Kedarnath Dham is located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. Kedarnath is the part of Char Dham yatra, which includes Gangotri, Yamunotri, and Badrinath. Gandhi Sarovar


Gandhi Sarovar is a small lake in Uttarakhand and it is 39000 m above sea level. The other name of Gandi Sarovar is Chorabari Tal because it is located at the mouth of  Chorabari Bamak Glacier. According to Hindu mythology, Yudhishtir the eldest brother of Pandavas has departed to heaven from here.   

Sonprayag


Sonprayag is located in the route of Kedarnath and in between Rudraprayag and Gaurikund. Sonprayag is 8 km from Gaurikund and easily reach through by taxi or bus from Rudraprayag. The nearest railway station to Sonprayag is Dehradun.

Gaurikund Temple

Gaurikund Temple is a very famous temple. According to Hindu Mythology, Temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati also known as Gauri Mata. Gaurikund temple is the temple where the Parvati Maintain Committed to penance involving many ascetic and yoga practices to win Shiva's heart.

Kedarnath Temple 

Kedarnath Temple is the Hindu temple and it is dedicated to shiva. It is located near the Mandakini River. Kedarnath is a very famous and very old mandir. The altitude of the mandir is 3580 m. Kedarnath Temple's opening date and time depend on Akshay Tritya and it is declared the Maha Shivratri and the closing date of Kedarnath nearly November month.
